# Author Boxes

 * Hello!
 * The author categories aren’t registering properly. So when I add someone in as
   an editor it immediately changes them into an author again once I click update
   article.
 * I’ve tried on classic editor, block editor, quick edit and the edit function 
   where you can select multiple posts.
 * Out of the 30 times I’ve tried twice it’s worked correctly.
 * I’ve ensured the correct category boxes are shown and it has worked on two articles.
   However I cannot touch anything on them otherwise it immediately reverts them
   back to authors.

 * Can you please confirm whether or no you using cache? either page cache, db cache,
   or object storage cache?
