 * I am creating a website with multiple authors.
    I have created test users to
   make sure it works. Until a few hours ago, my user that had the role of “author”
   could access [http://localhost:80/wordpress/wp-admin/](http://localhost:80/wordpress/wp-admin/)(
   using MAMP and running locally). Now, I will get an error that says
 * > You are not allowed to access this part of the site
 * What’s going on?
    I have capability manager installed, is it possible that something
   within my admin settings are interfering with author settings?
 * Please help.

 * well, are you sure that you go to the wp admin? The wp admin is in yoursite/wordpress/
   wp-admin/.

 * Again, I’m running it on MAMP. It’s a local server.
    That’s why there is no “
   yoursite”

 * Even if I deactivate capability manager, I’m still getting this error, by the
   way.

 * Is there a way to disable/restart ALL of the capabilities without using a plugin?
   Is there a .php file I can edit?
