    For the second time now, one specific author cannot be edited in the Authors settings pane. Trying to edit them just loads the Author list again and they’re the only ones without a checkbox next to their display pic for bulk actions.

    Last time this happened I had to delete the entire author and transfer their articles to a new user. But now that user also cannot be edited.

    This is the URL given when click on their name: wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=author (there is no edit author link at all under this user)

    For an editable author it would look something like this: wp-admin/term.php?taxonomy=author&tag_ID=33&post_type=post

    On the default users pane, clicking edit user profile just takes you to this url: wp-admin/users.php

    For a working, editable user (everyone else) the url is something like this: wp-admin/term.php?taxonomy=author&tag_ID=32&post_type=post

    It appears they’re missing an ID. When I deactivate the Authors plugin, I get the ID back for this user (or it says something like wpadmin in the URL). Right now we’ve rebranded the site and can’t get the new logo to show up in the profile picture for this user unless thevAuthors plugin is deactivated. But when reactivated the old display pic comes back up.
