 * My donation page is up, I’ve secured SSL certificate (status is “good” on dreamhost),
   but when completed, I get this message:

    The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account
   is inactive.
 * Help! I’m losing donations as I type this …

 * The error message you provided is thrown by Authorize.net so there should be 
   some trouble in account setup.
 * Make sure you’ve selected Live Mode from wp-donate settings and used correct 
   API credentials.
