# Author.php not working

 * Hi,
 * I’ve been trying to get Google+ Author working.
 * It works with twentytwelve template, but not the template I want to use.
 * I notice my template doesn’t have the author.php file so I copied it from twentytwelve
   folder, but it must need some other changes to other files (of course) and still
   isn’t working.
 * Can anyone help me get author working please?

 * Hi Songdogtech, thanks for replying. The theme is quite bespoke and is called
   wp-theme-notepad-chaos.
 * I can code in html and css and bodge some php. I’ve had a look at the codex pages,
   but it seems a bit past my skillset. Was hoping there was a step 1, step 2… post
   somewhere.
