Auto-conversion stopped working + bulk optimization stuck after latest update

Hi,

Since updating to version 6.3.2, I’m experiencing two issues:

1. Auto-conversion no longer works New images uploaded to the Media Library are no longer automatically converted to WebP. Before the update, this worked perfectly.

2. Bulk optimization gets stuck When I run “Bulk Optimization” for the ~5,900 remaining images:

• The progress reaches 100%
• But the counter still shows ~5,000 images remaining
• The status permanently shows “Optimization in progress”
• Running it again produces the same loop

Environment:

• WordPress 6.9
• PHP 8.3.27
• Plugin version: 6.3.2
• Converting to: WebP only (not AVIF)
• Total images in uploads folder: ~428,000
• Images already converted: 98%

What I’ve tried:

• Waiting for the process to complete
• Running bulk optimization multiple times

Could you please advise on how to fix the auto-conversion and resolve the stuck bulk optimization?
