    Hello,

I don’t think this is a feature currently rather the button but wanted to see if this is something that can be implanted. Having the gallery load more images when the user scrolls to the bottom of the current image set.

    Great plugin regardless!

This is not a feature that I will implement, as I have outlined in other posts on this forum.

Some users have tried workarounds, as you can see here.

    Thanks for clarifying,

On another note is ESI supported? Tried to use it with a shortcode but seems to brake the gallery when inserted.

I will need some more context here. I am not familiar with ESI.

Is it something you are using to cache a Photonic shortcode? If so, I would suggest not to use it. The server side aspect of Photonic is as optimized as it can be, and using something else will just result in frustration. E.g. if you are using the JS load mode, using something like ESI is pointless and harmful. Pointless, because there is no server-side activity happening, and harmful, because it will prevent the appropriate JS action from getting triggered, thereby breaking your gallery.

    Thanks for the input,

Yes ESI is a feature of openlitespeed cache to make “holes” in the cache page to be filled after. I agree it can cause more complications and have been running my site cache/optimization plugin free for a while now.

If I want to increase the load speeds of pages with large galleries, 30+ images averaging 110Kb a photo. Any recommendations?

    Things I thought of:

    -Improve hosting hardware

-Add load more button half way down. Not sure if also on slideshow

    -3rd party optimization cache plugin.

Currently now considering improving the hardware as the 3rd party plugins might not work. Is the load speed limited by the smug mug servers the photos have to call from?

My site is FL Cannabis Deals DOT org, no spaces.

Thanks again for all the help
