 * I have what I think is a good idea for the plugin – automatic blacklisting.
 * On several of my sites, I get _hammered_ with bots coming from particular IP
   ranges. Unless I manually blacklist, they keep hitting the site dozens of times
   a day. Eventually, I get P.O.’d and blacklist them. But then, they switch to
   different I.P.s and the game starts again.
 * I think it would be a great thing for AIO to have an **automatic blacklisting**
   feature. If Login Lockdown and/or other features stop a hacker/bot, and certain
   user defined criteria is met (like X # of attempts in 12 hours), he/she/it gets
   moved over to the blacklist automatically!
 * I would think this is relatively simple to code, and I know it would save me
   a tremendous amount of time and aggravation – not to mention bandwidth. I’m pretty
   sure it would do the same for others.
 * TX for all that you, and Happy New Year to all.

 * Hi KSteinmann thank you for your suggestion. One of the plugin developers will
   assess your suggestion further.
 * Kind regards

 * Yes this feature will make wonders. As blacklisting will deny all request to
   the website via htaccess which will reduce the number of client DB connections,
   but just increases the CPU usage of Apache/IIS. I need this feature very badly.
