# Automatic compression error

 * I get this error on image uploading:
 * “Latest error: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?) [77]”.
 * Manual compression works just fine.
 * Any help would be appreciated.

 * This problem is most likely related to the server configuration of the machine
   your WordPress website is hosted on. Searching for the specific error turns up
   quite a few cases where restarting the webserver (ie. Apache or nginx) solved
