 * last week i updated my wordpress installation from 3.6 to 4.4.2
 * Today i opened my installation and its downgraded back to 3.6
 * what can be the problem of this ??

 * Then there must be something or someone rolling back the file system. There is
   not capability in WordPress to downgrade. The only way that can work is if someone
   rolled back the files and the database.
