hi. We have a website that was built with otter blocks (Gutenberg Blocks and Template Library by Otter) v 1.5.3 and we noticed some loss of styling for buttons and other elements when upgrading to a more recent version 3.0.8 (Otter – Page Builder Blocks & Extensions for Gutenberg).
we’re able to redefine the settings and make the buttons display as expected but we wanted to reach out and ask if there’s a way we can migrate automatically because we have quite a large number of elements spread across the site and manual adjustments would take a very long time. Our main priority would be buttons as those represent a majority of the issue we’re facing.

    Hi @crazy_mtx,

Thank you for reaching out. Given the significant gap between Otter Blocks v1.5.3 (from 2020) and the current version 3.0.10, we are unable to provide an automated migration process for styling changes. The updates introduced over the years include multiple improvements, structural updates, and optimizations that are not directly compatible with such an older version.

To resolve this, you will need to manually adjust the styles where necessary. We understand that this can be time-consuming, especially with a large number of elements, but unfortunately, there isn’t an automated solution to migrate styling from such an old version.

We strongly recommend keeping the plugin updated regularly to avoid similar issues in the future and to ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress features, security patches, and improvements. If you need any guidance on making the necessary adjustments, feel free to let us know—we’d be happy to assist.

    Best regards,
