 * hey, i would like to install some plugin or hack, which would automatically add[
   more] link after some amount of characters/words, with keeping all images and
   other stuff. is there something for this, or do u have some idea how to do it
   please?

 * Well, I’d look at switching my theme to use the_excerpt reloaded plugin instead
   of the_content(). Then I’d set properties on the plugin to control word length
   and allowable content (like <img> tags).
