# Automatic permalink creation

 * Hey,
 * I have a bit of a suggestion for the permalink creation function. At the moment
   the permalink gets created when we change the focus from the title field.
 * However when you go and edit the title, the permalink does not get updated.
 * Why is the field configured this way? Would it not make more sense for the permalink
   to be updated, every time the title changes?
 * Thanks

 * maybe…but you can change the permalink title right above the edit page/post editor

 * By clicking edit, yes, I am aware of that, this is why it is a tiny suggestion,
   because in my eyes, the page doing it would be that “extra step” that makes something
   great into something amazing.
