 * I have plgins update disabled
   how ever all of a sudden wordpress is updating 
   automaticityi get Howdy! Your site at [https://xxxxxxxx](https://xxxxxxxx/) has
   been updated automatically to WordPress 6.2.2.
 * Please help me stop this
   I want to update manually

 * OK. But that’s for plugins, not WordPress.
 * And that won’t stop **WordPress** or **themes** from updating automatically.

 * How did you disable plugins update? If you used a plugin to do this, that plugin
   may be able to disable WordPress core and theme updates as well.
 * If you manually turned off individual plugin updates, then you may either add
   a line of code in your wp-config.php to disable WordPress core updates, or install
   a plugin to do this:
