# Automatic update for all plugins

 * After the update from 3.4.2 to 3.5.1, when WordPress tells that there are updates
   for some plugins, when starting the update (single or all together), WordPress
   gives the message: “The plugin is at the latest version.”. But the plugin version
   isn’t change and WordPress continues to tell that I have to update the plugin.
   The only workaround at the moment is to update all plugins using FTP.

 * I continue to update all plugins manually 🙁

 * There is a workaround:
    – Disable W3 Total Cache (Version 0.9.2.8 in my [Modica](http://www.runningmodicamaster.org)
   running site) – Update all plugins – Enable W3 Total Cache
 * Today I have updated W3 Total Cache to Version 0.9.2.9 but I haven’t other plugin
   to update at this moment.

 * Thank you Pierpaolo. I don’t have to update plugins manually any more. I just
   disabled W3 total cache and my plugin updated automatically. It works, finally!

 * [@agastelum](https://wordpress.org/support/users/agastelum/), I wonder if you
   would be so kind as to submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the
   plugin so I could see your settings and attempt to duplicate?

 * I am already at the support form and it’s asking to input subject and issue description.
   Is there anything in particular you would like to see, or is it enough to indicate
   that other plugins not updating automatically until W3 Total Cache was deactivated?

 * You can just include a link to this topic in the forum topic URL field of the
   bug submission from on the support tab of the W3TC plugin.
