 * We are currently working on creating a new website and we’ve only got a short
time left working with our web developer. Unfortunately, when they set up Book
a Room for us, they assumed that we’d want the increments set to 30. We’d actually
prefer 15. We asked if we could change this and while I see where I would make
this change, they said it would confuse all of the programs we’d already inputted.
Is there any way at all to change the increment amount and have it automatically
update? It would be nice to not have to redo the work we’ve already put in and
also have it set correctly moving forward.

 * The meetings are saved with absolute times, and the increments are created on
the fly when you view the page. This means that the meeting times are independent
   of the increment amount.
 * You should be able to change them around and back. Below is an example on my
test site of the same event switched (several times because I hit the wrong button
to screen shot) from 15 to 30 to 60 and back again.

 * Please, do make sure you backup before making any major changes!!

 * Thanks for the speedy reply!
 * So to clarify, if we change our increment baseline amount to 15, rather than
30, we can change the default number of increments allotted for setup/cleanup
from 1 to 2 – so we can still retain a default 30 minute buffer between events–
but because we’ve changed that baseline amount from 30 to 15, that will allow
us to schedule programs from, say, 10:00 – 10:15?

 * If you are changing your increments from 30 to 15 and making your normally 1
increment (30 minute) setup now 2 increments (still 30 minutes for 2 15 minute
incs.), I don’t see that it would cause any problems.
 * But, again, back up!
 * The setup and cleanups are added on when you view the page, so this should work
   as planned.

 * Any news? Were you able to update the increment time?

 * Thank you for checking back in with us!
 * We decided against making the change; we would prefer to have more detailed control
over our meetings but we book both our own meetings and outside meetings. Outside
meetings are booked by the people hosting them and they do this by going in our
website’s front end and selecting the time slots they need. With the increments
set at 30, if they wanted 2-4, they’d only need to click 4 boxes; if we switched
to 15 minute increments, they’d need to click 8. Of course that also makes the
page itself super long so we decided to keep it the way it is.
 * Thank you again for your help!

 * I do have one more question though, and I think I’d be asking the right person
in putting it here (I hope). It’s hard to say where our confusion lies when using
   multiple plugins.
 * We are using Gravity Forms to create forms that we can use to take in patron
registration details. We are using your plugin to manage our events otherwise.
So when we create an event, we are permitted to select whether registration is
required – if we say yes, we are allowed to then choose the proper Gravity Form
for the event. This form is included at the bottom of the event on the front
end so patrons can fill it out.
 * Our issue is that sometimes we have an event that requires registration but we
need the patron to come in face to face (usually when we’re collecting a fee).
But if we indicate in our event that it’s required, we are forced to choose a
form when we don’t really want one; we can make one that just has the patron
acknowledge the need to come in or call but that’s not preferred. If we don’t
indicate that registration is required, the event on the front end now says “
Registration not required”. We can, of course, say it’s required in the description
but this may be confusing and the space we have to describe our event is kind
   of small as it is.
 * Is there any way to have further customization over the registration area on
the front end? A way to say it’s required but please call/come in?

 * I’m not exactly sure how you’re setting things up or what you have going on.
Do you have a link that I could view?
