# Automatic upgrading not working

 * I am trying to automatic upgrade to WordPress 3.0 on my site betatales.com
 * Automatic upgrading of plugins works just fine, but when I try to upgrade WordPress
   the whole process stops.
 * Step 1, the clean-up process works fine.
    Step 2, to back up files returns just
   a blank page. It seems like nothing is happening and I cannot proceed with the
   automatic upgrad.
 * Previously this has worked just fine.
 * Any suggestions?

 * Have you tried checking with your host? I have had this where one site on the
   same host works and the other doesn’t and it turns out that it was a server setting
   that they changed.
