Automatic tags in search

    I am adding meta data (title, description and keywords) automatically from the post content. Is there anyway to add tag values in the search results as with other details, probably with custom fields.

    Hi @solutionsdev, you can do this for all posts by going to All in One SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Posts and using the Post Content smart tag in the Post Title and Meta Description fields.

    Or you can do this for an individual post(s) by editing your post and using the Post Content smart tag in the Post Title and Meta Description fields of the AIOSEO Settings section.

    You cannot do this for meta keywords.

    If you want to use the value of a custom field in those fields then you can find details on how to do that in this article.

    Hi @wpsmort, thanks a lot for your reply, but looking again of your instructions, I could not find smart tag specifically, I believe you mean the list of AIOSEO, but what I meant in my question that I wanted to use WordPress post tags.

    In the list of there are category name and many other post details, but the post tag is not there in the list, so I tried to use a custom field, writing a # in the custom field does not show anything.

    Then I tried to use codes that are used in WP for tags like post_tag & get tags function, but none has worked.

    Is there any way to add them?

    @solutionsdev If you want to use tags in the SEO title or meta description then select the Taxonomy Name smart tag and then enter post_tag in the custom field name field as seen here – https://a.supportally.com/G0YtIv
