 * Hi,
 * I’ve recently installed Autoptimize plugin on my website. The pagespeed and GTMetrix
   score has improved but the cache files created by Autoptimze are render-blocking
   as you can check here :
 * [http://prntscr.com/vamevh](http://prntscr.com/vamevh)
 * Can you please suggest some tweaks which can help me fix the issue?
 * Thanks!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fautoptimize-cache-files-are-render-blocking%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Have a look at the “inline & defer CSS” option, (more info in [the AO FAQ](https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/#faq)).
 * hope this helps,

 * Thanks for the suggestion. So I need to select “inline and defer css” or “inline
   all” to fix the issue?
    Because inline and defer needs “above the fold css” to
   be entered and inlining all does removes the render-blocking but comes with a
   warning!

 * well, this is explained in the FAQ too actually, but “inline all” will bloat
   your HTML and the CSS is not cacheable separately, so -assuming you can get the
   correct above the fold CSS, see links to tools in the fAQ- “inline & defer” is
   a lot better.
