    Hello,

I think it’s more of a Cloudflare thing but I thought maybe some of you can tell me how to solve this issue involving Autoptimize.

I’m using Cloudflare on our site and I noticed that the JS file created by Autoptimize isn’t cached for some reason even when CF’s cache everything option is enabled and even after purging the cache so CF can get a fresh copy of the files. Here’s what I get from Pingdom: https://prnt.sc/jabuc2. Is it because the file is created in real time? If so, what can I do to fix it?

    Thanks! 🙂

that’s probably because AO is generating new autoptimized JS-files each time over and over again, causing the cache misses both in CF but also on your server. Do you happen to have “also aggregate inline JS” option active? if so deactivate and test again, that will probably fix your issues.

    hope this helps,

    Hi Frank,

Thanks for the response. I checked my settings and saw that it isn’t checked. https://prnt.sc/jailf8 Do know what else could be causing this? :\

    Thanks. 🙂

had a look, even when requesting an autoptimized JS file directly and doing so multiple times, it keeps coming back with cf-cache-status: MISS. I have no idea why this would be the case @timidyo, you’re going to have to ask the cloudflare support staff I’m afraid.

    have a nice evening,

Yeah that’s what I thought. :\ I’m still waiting for their reply but thanks so much for taking the time to look at the issue! 🙂
