 * Hi,
 * After activating Autoptimize plugin to my site, I got this error message.
 * I have this error: Setting up fake worker failed: “Cannot load script at: [http://www.manvilleburger.com/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_06db952a12fad0275381c2d2a0a2a33f.worker.js&#8221](http://www.manvilleburger.com/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_06db952a12fad0275381c2d2a0a2a33f.worker.js&#8221);.
 * You can also see the link from here: [http://www.manvilleburger.com/pdf/](http://www.manvilleburger.com/pdf/)
 * This is the list of .js files that is excluded.
    wp-includes/js/dist/, wp-includes/
   js/tinymce/, js/jquery/jquery.js, wp-content/plugins/pdfembedder, wp-content/
   plugins/pdfembedder/js/all-pdfemb-basic.min.js, wp-content/plugins/pdfembedder/
   js/pdfjs/pdf.min.js, wp-content/plugins/pdfembedder/js/pdfjs/pdf.worker.min.js

 * Hi [@mertimiks](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mertimiks/),
 * You also need to make sure that the “aggregate inline JS” is not active. When
   the exclusion is active, you should then see the two javascript files (all-pdfemb-
   basic.min.js and pdf.min.js) in the Network tab of the browser’s developer tools
   and the pdf.worker.min.js will appear in the sources tab of the developer tools
   when the page is loaded.
 * I’ll send this information along in the email you also sent to us to make sure
   you get the reply.

 * Hi [@rogold](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rogold/),
 * You shouldn’t need to exclude the scripts but you do need to deactivate the the
   Aggregate JS-files option in the Autoptimize settings. I can’t post screenshots
   here so please take a look at our FAQ for the particular setting you need to
   adjust: [https://wp-pdf.com/kb/setting-up-fake-worker-failed-error-message/](https://wp-pdf.com/kb/setting-up-fake-worker-failed-error-message/)
 * If you have any other questions, please feel free to send an email to [contact@wp-pdf.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/autoptimize-plugin-issue-2/contact@wp-pdf.com?output_format=md)
   as we may not see messages posted here to respond in a timely fashion.

 * Thanks for your answer.
    Yes, now the error is gone.
 * But should I put the agregate-js option on again?
 * If I leave it off should it affect the performance of the rest of the pages?
 * I hope you understand my question….
 * Thanks a lot in advance!

 * Hi [@rogold](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rogold/),
 * You will need to leave that setting turned off. Turning it on will cause the
   scripts to be compiled again which will throw the error again. There should not
   be a significant hit to the loading speed of your other pages as you would still
   have other scripts minified which plays a big part in keeping the page load quick.
 * Emma
