# Autoptimize “Reduce server response time”

 * Hi,
    When I check my website [https://gearbroz.com/](https://gearbroz.com/) on
   google pagespeed I keep getting the “Reduce server response time” error. As soon
   as I deactivate autoptimize the error disappears.
 * The website is hosted on WPEngine with their CDN enabled
    I am using “cache enabler”

 * Yes,
    It shows the error and then if I test it a few minutes later it disappears.
   Every few minutes it disappears and reappears. If you test one of the inner pages
   you will see it.

 * for un-cached pages AO (like any active plugin) can have a slight impact on “
   time to first byte”, but once the pages are cached your site should fly. if the
   warning re-appears after a couple of minutes then you might have a page caching
   issue (or you’ve just purged CE’s cache).
 * for uncached pages you can lessen the impact of the initial autoptimization with
   the tips [in this blogpost](https://blog.futtta.be/2017/01/18/how-to-make-autoptimize-even-faster/).

 * I have another website everything works there. When I upload the plugin it starts
   doing the same thing with the “reduce server response time”.

 * well, as I wrote;

 * so:
    * make sure you have a page cache (CE or WPE’s builtin page cache or ….)*

   else and fix it? Do you offer such services for a fee?
