Autoupdates when disabled!

Yesterday I reported another “google analytics” plugin today is your turn.
This plugin does autoupdates even when “Auto-updates disabled” marked in the plugins list of WP and at the settings page the option “None – Manually update everything.” is selected.
Is this some kind of pandemic here, to copy bad practices from each other?! I suppose the forced autoupdate reason is just to update you ADVERTISEMENTS non stop with actual. Then you get 0 stars.
I’m also curious how even the wording is the same in the two plugins (ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin) do you copy from each other or one and the same actor is behind both?

As mentioned in this thread here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/plugin-updating-automatically-with-auto-updates-disabled/ there is a bug caused by the number given to the version of the current release that causes the autoupdate setting to be ignored, and we will have a fix out for it today (~24 hours after it was reported to us).-Chris
