# Avada (disable functionality)

 * I don’t know if this is the right place to post this but I couldn’t find anywhere
   else. I have installed the Theme Avada and its child theme. The child theme is
   activated. When I go into the page editor a lot of the functionality is disabled.
   So far I have found that (‘Add Media, Screen options, add shortcodes, edit image
   and visual and text view’) do not work.
    I have tried deactivating the plugins
   and activating them one by one again. I have deleted wordpress entirely and re-
   installed it and started. It’s driving me mad to have paid for a theme that isn’t
   working. Has anyone come across these issues before.
