# Avoid for now

 * I was really keen to use WooPayments for a new site. Couldn’t even install it.
   
   During numerous attempts, all I got was ‘unknown error’, which is tricky to pinpoint.
 * And before you think plugin conflict. I was running the latest WordPress with
   the 2025 theme and no other plugin installed other than WooCommerce and this 
   atrocity.
 * Pitty – I was looking forward to it – but one hour trouble shooting is enough.

 * Yes, I understand the issue you’re facing is due to a bug currently affecting
   the plugin. Some hosting providers have firewall rules that are blocking our 
   onboarding process. This is already being addressed and should be resolved in
   the next update.
 * In the meantime, if you’d like, you can reach out to your hosting provider and
   ask them to whitelist the following endpoint:
 * `/wp-json/wc/v3/payments/onboarding/kyc/session`
 * That should help resolve the issue temporarily so you can go ahead and create
   your WooPayments account.
 * Otherwise, you can wait for our upcoming update later this week, which should
   fix the issue and allow you to set up your account without any problems.

 * Yes, this particular issue with the release of WooPayments `9.2.1` and is included
   with the latest release of WooPayments `9.3.0`.
 * Have you updated your site to use the latest version of WooPayments and if so,
   are you still experiencing this issue?
