# "Back" Button Missing

 * I have just installed NGG. I am trying to use the Imagebrowser gallery. However,
   I noticed the “Back” button is not displaying on any of my galleries.

 * The code for the Back button is there, because I can see the following when I
   view the page source:
 *     ```
       <a href="/nggallery/basement-build-out/basement-build-out/image/basement-build-out_03/">
                       ◄ Back            </a>
       ```
   
 * But it’s not displaying on the page.
 * I’m hoping this is something simple that I’m overlooking. I’ve tried enabling
   and disabling the AJAX pagination (hoping that would help), but it didn’t have
   any effect.
 * Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

   is something in the theme is “hiding” the back button as it is being rendered
   to the page. Do you see this if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress
   Twenty series theme?
