 * Some maintenance mode plugins give you an option to exclude login slug. If installed
   maintenance mode plugin having this feature then add your custom login slug to
   exclude. So that it will bypass and allow access to backend. If you still don’t
   find workaround for this, there might be some conflict between **wordpress maintenance
   mode** plugin and **ithemes security** plugin.

 * Hello Friend
 * Thank you so much for trying to help me out.
 * Please be kind enough to let me know step by step instructions either how to
   disable “Maintenance Mode Plugin ” via CPanel or how to change WP admin path
   back to “wp-admin” via CPanel since i cant do anything via front end at all.
 * For the record – i changed the admin path through an option via Itunes plugin

 * I dont find any plugin with name **Itunes** that can allow to rename admin path.
   Let me know what plugin you used to change admin path? And provide plugin path
   in wp.org repository if it is not iThemes Security plugin. So that I can guide
   you.
    Through either **FTP** or **File Manager (from cPanel)** you can rename
   plugin directory name. So that you can login to your site with default slug.
   After login, you have to rename plugin directory/folder to to its original name.
   So that, it can allow you to reset settings of the plugin.

 * Do the following steps:
    1.Login to your cPanel 2.Click on **file manager** (
   in general it is under files section) 3.You will required to select either **
   Home Directory** or **Web Root**. Then hit on **Go** button. 4.From file manager
   interface you can see there is a left pane where you can browse directories.
   Your selected directory shown at the top-left corner. Browse upto the plugins
   directory similar to the following: **public_html/xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins**
   XXXXXX indicates your cPanel user name. 5.Now at the right panel of the file
   manager you can see a folder/directory name as **better-wp-security**. It is
   the iTheme’s Security Plugin directory. Just rename something like **better-wp-
   security-back**. 6.Now you are able to access your site’s backend using default
   login urls. **Don’t try to access your site using modified login slug**, since
   actual plugin’s directory name changed, it won’t work. So, **just use default
   login url wp-login.php**. 7.After login to your site’s backend, come back to
   your **file manager** and rename the iThemes Security plugin directory to its
   original name **better-wp-security**. 8.Now browse through installed plugins
   in your site’s backend. You can see iThemes Security plugin installed but not
   active. **Now activate and change settings** as you like. 9.Now everything works.**
   Close file manager and logout from cPanel**. 😀 Have a grate day.
