# Back-end post empty when Plugin is activated

 * When I activate this Plugin, in 80% of the cases where I want to add a new or
edit an existing post, the back-end post section is empty and almost all side
   options have disappeared.
 * De-activating the Plugin and immediately everything appears again, but I can
no longer auto-post to LinkedIn of course.
 * This is a screenshot of the issue [https://imgur.com/a/yfP3kBx](https://imgur.com/a/yfP3kBx)
 * The strange thing is, that I do not know what is triggering the “bad” behavior.
I just know that the “bad” state is happening in almost 80% of the times when
I want to add or edit a post and is very annoying. In the “bad” state, also auto-
post to LinkedIn is not working.
 * So when I want to add or edit a new post, I almost always have to disable the
   Plugin.
 * Can someone please take a look or let me know if we can get this fixed?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fback-end-post-empty-when-plugin-is-activated%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * This could be caused by a javascript conflict or a javascript error caused by
another plugin. Please try disabling all other plugins and then seeing if the
plugin works or try a different theme.

 * Had the Theme checked by the developer (Beaver Builder Theme) and they can not
find anything out of the ordinary.
 * By now your plugin is starting to generate error messages and hopefully this
can help in figuring this one out. Looking forward to hearing from you.

 * Hi,
 * I am doubtfull about the plugin conflict. For a while I deactivated all except
critical ones (Wordfence Security and WP Cerber Security), which I will not deactivate.
   The issue was still these.

 * Indeed. It’s not clear what is triggering the error and for that reason I was
not able to show this to the developer. That does not mean it is no longer there!
 * I also disabled ALL plugins except this one and worked with it for a few days.
The issue came back on and off. Disabling the Plugin allows me to continue working,
but after re-enabling it, in about 50% of the time, the issue remains for a while
and disappears without having any idea what is triggering this.

 * Also neither of you are providing me with the diagnostic information which is
requested in the plugin settings before creating support requests on the forum.
So please provide this in your email as well.

 * I have provided you with an explanation (first post), screenshots (first post),
the error message I often get (third post) as well as Admin access to my live
   site.
 * I understand that when the actual issue is not happening when you log in (no
idea what is triggering this making it hard to reproduce), that that makes it
harder for you to investigate, but I do feel I have provided you with information
and options and never received any request from you for more in order to be able
   to investigate further.
 * I appreciate the support so far and if you would like to investigate further,
but please be clear in what you need from me.

 * Hi [@dtp2](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dtp2/),
 * Sorry I forgot I had done this with you as this was around a month ago. This
   was better directed at [@olivierfruchart](https://wordpress.org/support/users/olivierfruchart/).
Yes upon investigating with you I couldn’t reproduce it on your site so there’s
nothing I can do about it. I can only conclude that the issue is specific to
your environment which include server versions, hosting parameters, your plugin
mix, your theme, WordPress version etc. There’s nearly 3500 users of the plugin
code base and there’s only 2 reports of this issue, and I don’t even know for
sure if the 2 issues are even the same.
 * The plugin has been coded to best standards in regards to compatibility and there’s
absolutely nothing obtrusive about how the plugin is coded – it’s very lightweight.
It uses all standard WordPress hooks. So when issues like this occur I am very
very sceptical it is the result of the plugin especially when it is affecting
   0.05% of users.

I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean
well but please _never ask for credentials on these forums._

 * Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and
a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some
ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the
person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
 * If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable
for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided
   without warranty.
 * **Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking
you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.**
