# Backdated posts not displaying

 * I’m moving a site from an Expression Engine CMS to WordPress, and having trouble
   getting old posts to display…
 * Since there weren’t too many posts overall, I’m moving them over by hand, copying
   from EE, and posting it as a new article. I’m also ‘backdating’ the posts to 
   reflect the original posted date from EE. For some reason, any post that I backdate
   more than 2 weeks won’t display on the front page. I can search the archives 
   and find them by month, and by category, but not sure why they won’t display 
   on the main page.
 * Does anyone know if this is a WP limitation? I’m set to list the 10 most recent
   posts, but for now that will include articles from earlier this year.
