 * I have set my background colour, but on the site page it does work ?
    Why is

 * It’s working for me. What version of WordPress do you have installed? Are you
   trying to change the background color by setting it in the custom CSS panel or
   via the Background page under Appearance?

 * If I had to guess, I’d say there was some other plugin causing a conflict, then.
   As I said, I have it running on my blog ([http://jazzsequence.com](http://jazzsequence.com))
   and the background works just fine. Do you have a URL you can post a link to 
   so I can take a look at it?

 * The default background color is `#efefef` which is being overridden by the color
   in the `body.custom-background` class. Presumably that’s the color you picked.
