# background process caused 100% CPU

 * If “Disable background process” is not enabled, it seems use much more server
   resource with 100% CPU consumption when importing a product.
 * Is that right? or optmize the performace please?

 * We installed [https://github.com/netdata/netdata](https://github.com/netdata/netdata)
 * It is easy to monitor all server performance.
 * If “Disable background process” is not enabled, it seems use much more server
   resource with 100% CPU consumption when importing a product.
 * And we will be unable to access site, even netdata will lost connection.

    I will try this later. You can try this to see if it can reduce memory
   usage: open the file **woo-alidropship/includes/wp-background-process.php** and
   search for `$memory_limit = $this->get_memory_limit() * 0.9;` then change 0.9
   to 0.5
