 * Hello,
 * I use UpdraftPlus and I use WP Mail SMTP plugin. I have a problem that recently
   showed up when backing up the website. The process stops trying to create tables
   for wp_mail_smtp. Please see fragment of the log:
 * `0087.983 (0) Table wp\_terms: finishing file(s) (2, 2.9 KB)
    0088.209 (0) Error(
   table=wp\_e\_events, type=BASE TABLE) (table\_details\_error): (Table ‘joboholic.
   wp\_e\_events’ doesn’t exist in engine) 0088.274 (0) Errors occurred during backing
   up the table; therefore the open file will be removed 0088.494 (0) Error (table
   =wp\_wpforms\_tasks\_meta, type=BASE TABLE) (table\_details\_error): (Table ‘
   joboholic.wp\_wpforms\_tasks\_meta’ doesn’t exist in engine) 0088.662 (0) Errors
   occurred during backing up the table; therefore the open file will be removed
   0088.904 (0) Error (table=wp\_wpmailsmtp\_debug\_events, type=BASE TABLE) (table\
   _details\_error): (Table ‘joboholic.wp\_wpmailsmtp\_debug\_events’ doesn’t exist
   in engine) 0089.007 (0) Errors occurred during backing up the table; therefore
   the open file will be removed 0089.113 (0) Error (table=wp\_wpmailsmtp\_tasks\
   _meta, type=BASE TABLE) (table\_details\_error): (Table ‘joboholic.wp\_wpmailsmtp\
   _tasks\_meta’ doesn’t exist in engine) 0089.202 (0) Errors occurred during backing
   up the table; therefore the open file will be removed 0089.279 (0) Errors occurred
   whilst backing up the tables; will cease and wait for resumption`
 * I tried to use built in Action Scheduler which shows a message that tables were
   missing and attempting to recreate but nothing happens. The problem still persists.
   Please advise how to solve this problem. Thank you for all your help.

 * Hi [@onlineway](https://wordpress.org/support/users/onlineway/),
 * Thanks for reaching out!
 * As I have checked with our developers, this means that MySQL reports the existence
   of a table, but when asked for details on that table, says it does not exist.
   This means that you have some corruption in your MySQL database which prevents
   a consistent backup. You will want to talk to your MySQL server administrator
   to ask them to take a look at it.
 * In case it helps, you may try following [this thread](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-backup-database-table-doesnt-exist/)
   to learn more information.
 * Thanks!
