# Backslashes

 * When ever there is a ‘ in the form setting, option field it puts lots of backslashes
   but when its a ” it doesnt
 * Any advice?

 * Thank you for contributing to the support thread and pointing out this.
 * The reason will be related to the way the code is sanitizing the quote and each
   time you save it will add an extra \
 * It will require a core code fix at some future point.
 * Until it is fixed the only solution I can suggest is to use `& # 0 3 9 ;` (remove
   the spaces as I can’t as this forum renders `'` ) this will display a single 
   quote – but note each time you save it will still add a \ so you will have to
   change each time – hopefully though you will set up once and that is it.
