Hi @marietek
Could you please try to use this version of the plugin, which you can download:
Here: https://backupbliss.com/downloads/plugins/bmi-stable/backup-backup-1.2.2.zip
Please, install it on both websites and make new backup.
After backup, on the website where you want to restore it:
1. Go to “Other options” section
2. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
3. Save “Other options” section
4. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
Then, you can try to run restoration process once again.
Let me know if that resolves your issue 🙂
Thank you!
Hello
Thanks for your answer.
I change the extension with the one you give me.
As the size of the site was upper 2Go, I take off the uploadings, so it gives a 1.5 Go site to backup.
I disable PHP CLIas as you said.
I try to backup… but it stops à 55% this time…
Which others parameters can I disable?
Have a nice day

Hi @marietek
Ah, I thought your are not experiencing issue with backup but migration.
The error you received most recently was caused by not enough RAM memory.
Please, try to switch backup method which uses batching, that may solve the issue.
1. Go to “Other options” section
2. Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa
3. Save “Other options” section
4. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
Let me know if that pushes the backup further 🙂
Thank you!
Hello
I follow your prescriptions
It’s go a little farther ….
But stops à 88%
Sorry ….

Hi @marietek
My apologies for delayed reply.
The issue still looks like there is not enough memory.
Your PHP limit is 40 MB and WordPress limit is 1 GB.
– WP Limit shouldn’t be larger than PHP Limit
You should try to increase memory in your php.ini configuration or ask hosting provider to do that (at least 256 MB).
I would also recommend you to verify if you have enough free space for that backup. I see there is around 2 TB, but I think it may be incorrect value – some hosting providers returns global free space instead of yours. – It may cause our backup plugin to run but it won’t finish as there won’t be enough space for that.
Once you confirm these two points, please try to run backup process again using officially released v1.2.2.
Thank you!

As we didn’t hear any reply in last days.
I can assume that you resolved the issue.
Feel free to open new topic if I am wrong!
Thank you 🙂
I had the same issue that backup froze before completing (<150MB).
Using the tip of iClyde: “2. Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa” and clicking on “Bypass web server limitations” was solving the problem. I did not need to disable CLI-cheking.
Perfect, many thanks!
