# Backup problem

 * I’ve tried to make a backup of my site, maltacode.eu.
    Partly to test your plugin
   before purchase, mainly for migrating sites from one server to another.
 * My debug code is: BMI-b2ZQUW4S-05393
 * I have used it on other sites and there it worked fine. Hope you can see what
   goes wrong here creating a backup.

 * I haven’t seen such error before but it may be caused by insufficient permissions.
   
   Overall the backup looks fine, you should check if the file is visible on backup(
   s) list.
 * It failed after success, but on failure we remove the backup file and clean all
   temporary files.
 * For now, please follow:
    1. Make sure the backup directory is writable by PHP(
   correct user is set) – If you don’t know how to do this / don’t have permissions
   to do that, continue. 2. Go to “Other options” section 3. Change backup method:
   [https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa](https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa) 4. Disable PHP CLI checking:
   [https://prnt.sc/1sljr31](https://prnt.sc/1sljr31) 5. Save “Other options” section
   6. Force stop both processes: [https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm](https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm)
 * Try to run your backup process again.
 * In the error log I see that one of your plugin generates constant error each 
   request “google-site-kit”, if it’s not up to date, please consider update as 
   it may resolve the issue.
