Backwards WYSIWYG solution
-
I would give this plugin less than 1 star if I could. See the idea is great in theory It clearly states on the plugin pages that it supports WYSIWYG designs.
When you use the visual editor it supports line breaks and paragraph’s until you hit the apply button. Then you just get a complete wall of text no breaks no white space nothing. Swapping back and forth in the visual/text editor you lose all formatting?
I feel the author should spend a little more time looking into this problem as there’s 13 pages of the same type of subject in the support forums. And since this plugin was created the only response to fix the issues is to use the BR BR HTML tags within the text editor.
I feel this is not WYSIWYG kind of behavior? Can you imagine having 2000 lines of text like you’ve copy/pasted a document/guide/tutorial from say Word/Notepad then find out the only way to get any kind of gaps between paragraphs is scroll though 2000 lines of code which is now turned into just a complete wall of text. Then start putting in BR BR?
I’m shocked to see this plugin is actually for sale with this major bug that the author just refuses to even look into. So be ware if you buy this plugin you CANNOT make paragraphs in either Visual Editor, or Text Editor.
You will have to spend the day manually adding BR BR to make a line break!
I would say putting line breaks and being able to have paragraphs is a basic function to have in the English language no?
