• The Gutenberg structure is interesting and really makes it easier to create a post.

However, it’s terrible for the “fine tuning” of them. I can’t put separators in my post; it’s difficult to change some options; I can’t control the name of my URL’s post if I want to; I have to create paragraph by paragraph; and I can’t change the type of a block (from paragraph to title, for example).

In my case, I have all my texts already created and I just copy and paste them, for them to be published. And this Gutenberg-way is a waste of time for me. Not recommended.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review @mpassosbr8. I am sorry you are having such trouble fine tuning and would love to help you at least get to the bottom with some of those things. Could I ask a little bit about adding a separator, there is a block for this but is that not adding for you? I ask as would love to know if this is a problem with discovering the block or the block itself.

Similarly, changing a block. Some blocks do change to others but not every block type. You mention paragraph to a title block, are there others you would like to change from/to?

Hi @karmatosed, thanks for your reply. I really didn’t find the separator anymore. And like I said, I have all my texts previously written, so actually I just have to copy and paste. Before I used to do that and them just selected the texto and applied the H1, H2, H3 formatting… Now I can’t do that, so I have to insert a new block defined as H3, for instance, and only then to copy my text. At least this is the way I found to add it to my posts and pages. Anyway, maybe I “just” have to learn how to work with these blocks, but I think WordPress should give us the option to choose which editor to use. Thanks for the reply!
