# bad request message

 * Hi-I’ve been using wordpress.org for my blog since february (before that it ran
   on wordpress.com for 2 years.) Everything has been running smoothly but yesterday,
   when I went to save my post, I kept getting this message:
 * Bad Request
 * Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
    Apache Server
   at default.secureserver.net Port 80
 * We recently installed Firefox 4 on my laptop and we are wondering if that might
   be the cause of the problem. (It has caused other technical glitches).
 * Please advise.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
