I can’t experience that issue on the theme’s demo website

Can you try deactivating plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?
download the theme it comes up on download not on preview

So it’s happening through the dashboard?
this theme worked fine two days ago now above my background image in the left upper corner it has style.css
yes and on all browsers too
it seems to be outside the css
i have made rustic active on mysite

Are you sure it’s not a plugin issue?
it is hidden on the main theme with the wood but it pops when the background image is lighter in color
i have turned off all plugins, i have removed all changes to css of child, i have activated the parent and it is still there

Do you know why your website is in an iframe?
not sure was never put into an iframe?
like i said it worked fine two days ago the only thing i have done is ad post and pages i have not changed any code till i notice text in the upper corner and i tried to change the text color on #site-description
just so you know that is the parent and not the child that is running on mysite
i have made no changes to the parent theme at all
once again i have removed all the plug ins and I am running the parent theme now
