It sounds like you have some serious issues with your theme, but it could also be a conflicting plugin.
10 months ago you said it worked and the questions you had was answered. I haven’t seen you report a new issue.
If the images doesn’t load on your front page, can you check the JavaScript console for errors?
The plugin does not handle any content any differently, so the same thing should have happened on all your pages. Can you send the the url to your site or a screenshot of the source of the page where an image is referenced?
the theme is twenty-thirteen with custom css only – no theme file changes or WP core file changes
if it worked 10 months ago, than i would have been using it all along 🙂
i just reinstalled it a few days ago, hoping the bugs i had before might be resolved
no JS console errors
disabled all other plugins and results were the same
the images on the front page are not displayed when i select Apply to content, and/or Apply to post thumbnails – they display fine when images and/or embed options are selected, but after clearing browser cache and loading a long page with many images and embeds, all of the page content is loaded at once

also isn’t working with the 2014 wp theme
Your current lazy load technique is exactly the same as BJ Lazy Load is using (for images). It even use the same detection script. Since you have that working for you, there is no need for you to change.
BJ Lazy Load works fine with both twentythirteen and twentyfourteen. It’s extensively tested with both those themes.
