# $base parameter in wp-config.php ?

 * Hi All,
    I am trying to configure subblogs for a Multiblogs install of WP (see
   my post some days ago in this forum) and I have one question I have no answer.
 * What is the difference in wp-config.php between the parameter :
    `$base = '/wordpress/';`
 * and the following one :
 * `define( 'PATH_CURRENT_SITE', '/wordpress/' );`
