# Minor issue: Basic captcha always rejects first answer, but works after that

 * Minor issue, but odd: On my dev sites, my first answer to the basic math captcha
is rejected every time. The second answer is always accepted (assuming I math
it right). (UN/pw are handled by a pw manager.)
 * To add to the oddness, this happens only on my dev sites, whose URL paths are
in a webhost subdirectory. They run on http, thanks to host’s limitations. They
are also behind the Coming Soon plugin by Seedpod (which is more flexible than
the AIOWPS option), which I don’t see as a factor but it’s another distinguishing
   characteristic of the dev sites.
 * On my live sites, running on the same host in the same docroot on the same server,
with SSL, major caching, and more aggressive firewalling in place, this first-
case-rejection behavior disappears and the captcha always works as expected.
 * I thought I’d mention this in case it rings any bells or helps with someone else’s
issue. It’s a minor issue for me. Love AIOWPS!

 * Hi, thank you for sharing this information.
 * Yes, it is a bit odd that your math capture does not work in your dev site but
it works in your live site.
 * Well the good news is that it is working in your live site which is the most
important part. There must be some particular site setting in your dev site causing
this issue. Something that you have over looked.
 * **Does your host provider do automatic page caching on the server side?**
 * If you like you can investigate further this and report back when you find something.
 * Kind regards
