 * Hey guys,
 * This may seem like a totally basic question, but I need to edit the actual html
   markup on my site. I have some hard-coded html elements that need editing (adding
   a specific url).
 * Can’t find what I’m looking for in the built in Theme Editor in any of the theme’s
   templates.
 * Any suggestions?

 * What are you looking for exactly? everything should be within the themes files,
   and if not you might have to make the page yourself.

 * Here’s the link to the site: [http://www.theepicstudent.com/wordpress/](http://www.theepicstudent.com/wordpress/)
 * Look at the sidebar, and the items in the very bottom that are links to social
   networking sites, etc. Their links just have “#” and I want to edit those.
 * Cannot find those in any of the theme’s templates. I do find the items in the
   CSS, but surely I can’t put actual URLs in the CSS.
 * I can right-click on the page in the browser and see the “source” but can’t find
   it anywhere to edit those few items.
 * Suggestions?

 * Looks like they are widgets to me, under the appearance tab, click on widgets
   and tell me what u see

 * The part that I’m talking about aren’t widgets. They are hard-coded.
 * The widgets that are active are the “categories” and the black text that wasn’t
   styled out in the CSS.
 * What I’m trying to edit is that “hard code.” I see those stylings in the CSS,
   but you can easily tell that they are links to “#” and all I want to do is change“#”
   to an actual url.
 * The footer I did this easily, as well as other areas on the page. But this…no
   clue.

 * Since you seem to think they are hard coded, why dont u ask the AUTHOR of the
   THEME. if not upload the theme and let someone else trouble shoot it

 * Okay, I think I’m an idiot. 🙂
 * The sidebar has been broken into 2 parts and I just noticed that there was a
   dropdown menu for the sidebar.
 * What I was looking at was sidebar_1. Had no clue there was a sidebar_2. I selected
   the latter and found the code I was looking for.
 * UGH!
 * However, I truly appreciate your efforts to help me. That’s very kind of you.
   Thank you very much!
