# BASIC INSTRUCTIONS ON USING UPDRAFT

 * Updraft is a very very confusing plugin.
 * It makes no sense at all.
 * If someone hacks my site delete all plugins. then how can i restore my site?
 * They want us to login and click restore. but what if someone deleted my plugins?
 * or my hosting company deletes my site. how can i go to another hosting company?

 * We suggest that you still keep a separate copy of your backups files. UpdraftPlus
   does have “[lock](https://updraftplus.com/shop/lockadmin/)” feature so the UpraftPlus
   Backups tab would not be accessible to all and will require a password for you
   to access. However, this feature is only available on premium version only.
