# Basic version: text and cloud message are black

 * Good evening, I use the basic version. When a user visits my site and sends a
   message, they type text that appears in black on a white background. However,
   when the chatbot responds, the text is black and the background is also black.
   
   What could be causing the problem?Thanks

 * If you cant share publicly, that’s fine, i can just give you the CSS to fix and
   review what you shared here.
 * I am away from computer at the moment. Once I return to a computer I will review
   what you shared and also give you the CSS class properties and info to fix it!

 * Thanks to your suggestion, I solved the problem. I added this code to Custom 
   Code – CSS in Mylisting’s Theme Options:
 * .mxchat-chatbot .bot-message,
   .mxchat-chatbot .bot-message p,.mxchat-chatbot .
   bot-message * {color: #ffffff !important;}
 * .mxchat-chatbot .user-message,
   .mxchat-chatbot .user-message p,.mxchat-chatbot.
   user-message * {color: #212121 !important;}
 * And now I can see the color. Thanks so much for the support, it’s really helpful.
