Batch Import API Method or adding individually with the API?

    In which way does the CM Dual Registration plugin add new subscribers to CM? Does it use the Batch Import API Method or does it do it individually with the API?

    In Campaign Monitor’s help files ( http://help.campaignmonitor.com/topic.aspx?t=171#import-trigger ) regarding new subscriber autoresponders for people added via the API:

    • Importing subscribers using the ‘batch import API method’ will not trigger autoresponders (but this can be overridden, see details below).
    • Adding people individually via the API will trigger autoresponders.

    To override the default setting for the batch import API method:

    • Add the QueueSubscriptionBasedAutoResponders parameter and set it to true.

    We use Batch Import API Method to perform ‘save and sync’. And we add people individually when a new wordpress user is created.

    When you use the Batch Import API Method, Campaign Monitor states:

    “Adding people individually via the API will trigger new subscriber autoresponders. Using the ‘batch import API method’ will not.”

    However, they suggest a workaround for this:

    “To override the default setting for the batch import API method: Add the QueueSubscriptionBasedAutoResponders parameter and set it to true.”

    My question to you: in this plugin, is the QueueSubscriptionBasedAutoResponders set to TRUE?

    If not, can you please create a checkbox in the admin area of WP that allows me to select true or false?

    QueueSubscriptionBasedAutoResponders is not set to true.
    Adding the checkbox doesn’t seem difficult. But I have to discuss it with Carlo first.

    Yes, a checkbox for that option would be great! Thank you. I think others would also enjoy a checkbox for:

    RestartSubscriptionBasedAutoResponders

    and for:

    Resubscribe

    Any update on the possibility of adding checkboxes?

    For:
