I use bbpress and need to prevent guests from viewing unless logged in.
Will your plugin stop guests viewing the forum?

Kudos. I just installed bbPress Restrictions to manage unlogged users.
It appeared to be working – unlogged visitors were successfully blocked from forum content until I upgraded php to 7.1. I got an Internal Server error when accessing the forums page. I could, however access topics directly.
I purged cache but still no luck.
Disabled and enabled bbPress Restrictions and bbPress.
Purged cache again.
Still no luck.
Reverted to php 7.0 and all is well again.
Any ideas? I am happy sticking with php 7.0. just thought you might want to know.

First time I’ve heard of anything regarding issues on PHP 7.1. Error logs related to the timeframe tested would be the best thing for me to look at there. Internal Server errors could be from many things, so it may not even be an issue with our plugin directly.
It is the only thing that changed. If you want to look at this, let me know what error logs you need.

Whatever you can find in your server logs that are recent from the time you tried the switch. I don’t know exactly what you’re going to have available.
