Beginner help/understanding theme

    Hi there,

    I’ve made a BASIC wordpress site before. This is a step up.
    My header looks fine. How do I set basic text and pictures without having this white box with HOME in it?

    I’m thinking I need CSS to create different font sizes and alignment?

    So confused!
