Blank KML file

I am using this plugin with Yoast SEO and when activated I see that the rc_geositemap.xml is created, however, the file that it points to does not contain any location information. It is blank with the exception of name. I have the widget added to one page on my site and have entered all the contact and address info there. See contents of the KML file below:
