# Block "admin"?

 * I oversee 30+ client sites on a dedicated server. We’ve had a lot of brute-force
   attacks which is why I’ve been exploring these options.
 * I have LSS installed and recently added WordFence. I was told to not let WF oversee
   login security. But they have a feature I really like which is to block anyone
   who tries to login with “admin” as the user name.
 * So I have two questions….
    1) is there a way to do that in LSS? 2) is there any
   harm in letting WordFence do that AND running LSS?

 * That option doesn’t exist in LSS. It doesn’t gain much in the way of security.
   Though I guess it cuts down on the level of noise.
 * I don’t recall if running WordFence at the same time will cause problems. You
   can try and see.
